Breastfeeding Education

There are many decisions that you, as a parent, will make over the lifetime of your child. As expectant parents, you will need to choose how you are going to feed your baby. In order to make an informed decision, you will need to research your options to make the best decision possible for your family. Education and support are both necessary in order to help ensure breastfeeding success. Whether you have already chosen to breastfeed your baby or are still in the process of making that decision, I highly recommend that you take classes that will provide you with more information regarding breastfeeding. My goal is to provide breastfeeding education, encouragement, and support for both expecting and new parents. I offer private breastfeeding classes that will include information such as:

-Benefits of Breastfeeding
-Basic Anatomy and Physiology
-How to get Started
-Positions and Latch
-Possible Hurdles
-Importance of Support (and where to find it!)

Classes can be taken during pregnancy and/or after birth.
