It is an exciting and busy time for you and your family as you prepare to welcome your new little one in to the world. I would be honored to be a part of this special time in your life.    I provide labor doula services, childbirth education, breastfeeding support, and more to expecting and new parents in the Kansas City area. I am passionate about educating and supporting women during pregnancy, labor and birth, and postpartum. I encourage women to receive education, do research, and talk openly with their providers. My desire is to present positive, evidence based information to families, so that they can make the best choices possible in their specific situation. I believe that God designed our bodies perfectly, and that a woman should have faith in His perfect design and in the birthing process. Birth is normal and natural, and is a joyful, miraculous event.   I believe that a woman has the right to choose the kind of birth she desires, whether it is with or without medical interventions, in a birth center, hospital, or at home. As a doula and educator, I support the choices my clients make. My goal is to help moms achieve the birth they desire whenever possible.

CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association) has many certifications to choose from!
